| Awahou Playgroup | Awahou Playgroup provides a place for parents and preschool children to meet on a regular basis. It is funded by the Ministry of Education. We meet at Awahou School on Wednesdays, from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon, during the school terms. We aim to provide a range of educational activities to foster children's learning and development, along with a chance for parents/carers to get to know each other in an informal setting. The children have the opportunity to play in a child centered environment using a wide range of toys suitable for preschoolers. There is also an outdoor play area suitable for the under 5s, within the school boundaries.
