A family orientated martial arts club. Learn self defence & gain confidence; get fit (need to start with basic level of fitness); compete if you wish (not compulsory);. Holistic personal development- mental, physical, emotional, social. Very supportive environment. Adhere to tenets of Taekwondo: perseverance, courtesy, integrity, self control, indomitable spirit. Black belt instructors. Start age of 9 years. (Club has members from age 9 to 61 years)Parent Body: Taekwondo of NZ which provides pathway to Olympics for anyone wishing to compete.Meeting Time: Tuesday evenings: 6-7.30pm. Dress in loose sports clothing. Wear bare feet. Bring a water bottle.Fees: $20/term/person; family discount rates. $35 per year to parent body for administration of examinations, seminars, tournaments. Uniform ordered through club instructors who get a 20% discount from Martial Art suppliers.
